Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Benson, Littleworth Road, Churchfield Lane and Oxford Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 October 2017 Coming into force: 23 October 2017 This Order is being introduced because of the construction of a new traffic island which is anticipated to take 16 days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using the junction of Littleworth Road, Churchfield Lane and Oxford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services (subject to access) and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the A4074 Henley Road, Church Road and Watlington Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Littleworth Road, Benson) (One-WayTraffic) Order 1987 will be suspended to allow two-way access.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
