THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BATCHWORTH LANE, NORTHWOOD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Batchworth Lane, Northwood from its junction with Davenham Avenue south westwards to its junction with Ardross Avenue (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 205 metres. An alternative route will be via Farm Way, Woodfield Avenue, The Fairway and Batchworth Lane. The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2017 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Smith Street, Watford from its junction with King Street south eastwards to its junction with The Crescent, a distance of approximately 121 metres. An alternative southbound route will be via King Street, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove/ Exchange Road), Cambridge Road, Granville Road and The Crescent An alternative northbound route will be via The Crescent, Granville Road, King Street, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Water Lane, High Street and King Street.
2. that length of Sydney Road, Watford from its junction with Hagden Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 445 metres. An alternative route will be via Hagden Lane and Whippendell Road.
3. that length of Chenies Way, Watford from its southernmost junction with A4145 Tolpits Lane north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its northernmost junction with A4145 Tolpits Lane, a distance of approximately 302 metres. An alternative route will be via A4145 Tolpits Lane.
4. that length of Kelmscott Crescent, Watford from its westernmost junction with Hagden Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its eastern most junction with Hagden Lane, a distance of approximately 248 metres. An alternative route will be via Hagden Lane.
5. that length of Kelmscott Close, Watford from its junction with Kelmscott Crescent south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Charlock Way, Watford from its junction with Vicarage Road north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Tolpits Lane, a distance of approximately 468 metres. An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road, High View and Tolpits Lane.
7. that length of King Georges Avenue, Watford from its westernmost junction with Whippendell Road northwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and southwards to its easternmost junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 522 metres. An alternative route will be via Whippendell Road.
8. that length of Gade Avenue, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length. An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, Shepherds Road and Cassiobury Park Avenue.
9. that length of Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue south eastwards to its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road, a distance of approximately 1028 metres. An alternative route will be via Gade Avenue and A412 Rickmansworth Road.
10. that length of Swiss Avenue, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Park Avenue south westwards to its junction with Gade Avenue, a distance of approximately 318 metres. An alternative route will be via Cassiobury Park Avenue and Gade Avenue.
11. that length of Swiss Close, Watford from its junction with Swiss Avenue north westwards and clockwise for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 12. that length of Nascot Road, Watford from its junction with Park Road south westwards to its junction with Langley Road, a distance of approximately 168 metres. An alternative route will be via Park Road and Langley Road.
13. that length of Stamford Road, Watford from its junction with Park Road south westwards to its junction with Langley Road, a distance of approximately 175 metres. An alternative route will be via Park Road, Stratford Road and Langley Road.
14. that length of Nascot Place, Watford from its junction with Stamford Road north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
15. that length of Cole Road, Watford from its junction with Stamford Road north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
16. that length of Balmoral Road, Watford from its junction with Imperial Way north westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximate An alternative route will be via Balmoral Road, Radlett Road, Bushey Mill Lane and A412 St Albans Road.
17. that length of Acme Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
18. that length of Sotheron Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road south eastwards and southwards to its junction with Sutton Road, a distance of approximately 308 metres. An alternative route will be via Queens Road, Prince Street and Sutton Road.
19. that length of The Crescent, Watford from its junction with Granville Road north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 20. that length of Ebury Road, Watford from its junction with Radlett Road south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
21. that length of Ottoman Terrace, Watford from its junction with Ebury Road south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
22. that length of Shaftesbury Road, Watford from its junction with Ebury Road south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 23. that length of Leavesden Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Longspring, a distance of approximately 800 metres. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Longspring.
24. that length of Garfield Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, a distance of approximately 154 metres. An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Parker Street and Milton Street.
25. that length of Parker Street, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Milton Street, a distance of approximately 144 metres. An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Garfield Street and Milton Street. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE EXISTING ONE WAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM ON WELLSTONES, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Wellstones, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Market Street (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 245 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, High Street and Market Street. ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on this length of Road will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of Road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because the installation of a tower crane to facilitate the access to equipment at the ISG site located on High Street/Wellstones is proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY CROXLEY GREEN 17
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Croxley Green 17, over the River Gade, for an approximate distance of 20 metres. Alternative route: via footbridge near Byewaters The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge works to take place. The section of Bridleway will be closed on or after 9th October 2017 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 weeks to complete.
