ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MADDOCKS STREET SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 750) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Maddocks Street, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Maddocks Street from its junction with Saltaire Road to a point outside No 13 Maddocks Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Maddocks Street (unaffected section), Caroline Street, Exhibition Road, Saltaire Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th October 2017 and remain in force until 20th October 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 5th day of October 2017
