(JUNCTION 14, NEAR EASTLEIGH) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

M3 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 14, NEAR EASTLEIGH) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M3 Motorway in the County of Hampshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight 50mph speed restriction on the link road connecting the coast-bound carriageway of the M3 to the westbound carriageway of the M27 motorway at Junction 14 (M27 Junction 4). These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake street lighting repairs, carriageway works, and all associated works. It is expected that the work would last for
approximately 4 weeks starting on or after Thursday 16th November 2017. The overnight closures would take place between 21:00 and 05:00 (maximum period). The Order would come into force on 14 November 2017 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months. The temporary speed limit would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.

M27 MOTORWAY (NEAR EASTLEIGH) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M27 Motorway in the County of Hampshire and the Unitary Authority of The City of Southampton, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closure of the link road connecting the eastbound carriageway of the M27 to the London-bound carriageway of the M3 Motorway at Junction 4 (M3). These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake street lighting repairs, carriageway works and all associated works. It is expected that the work would last for approximately 6 weeks starting on or after Monday 13th November 2017. The overnight closures would take place between 21:00 and 05:00 (maximum period). The Order would come into force on 11 November 2017 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months. Traffic affected by the closures would be diverted using the M27 eastbound to Junction 3 and return to take the westbound link road to the M3 London-bound. The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
