NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Herefordshire Council in accordance with Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 propose to set the maximum fare charged in a licensed Hackney Carriage for the period 2017/2018 and until further notice: fares shown in italics are the current fares.
Tariff one

A copy of this notice will be deposited at the Taxi Licensing Unit, 8 St Owen Street, Hereford, HR1 2PJ and will be open to public inspections without payment during normal office hours.
Any objections to the proposed increases should be made in writing stating the reason therefore and be sent to Taxi Licensing, Herefordshire Council, 8 St Owen Street, Hereford, HR1 2PJ or emailed to taxilicensing@herefordshire.gov.uk with 'Taxi Tariff Consultation' in the subject line. Objections must be received by Thursday 12 October.
If no objections are made or if all objections so made are withdrawn, the proposed increase shall come into operation on 1 November 2017, or at the date of withdrawal of the last objection, whichever is the later, subject to approval of the cabinet member. If objections are duly made and not withdrawn, Herefordshire Council shall set a further date no later than two months after the date specified above on which the proposed increases shall take effect with or without modifications, as decided by Herefordshire Council after consideration of any objections.
