Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1165 from Mill Lane to Strangwood Farm, Old Colwall, Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1165 from Mill Lane to Strangwood Farm from the junction with the U66600 Flapgates to the junction with C1167 from C1179 to Mill Lane OS Grid Ref: 373599 / 242313. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U66600 Flapgates onto the C1179 The Cummins onto the C1167 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the jetting of culvert drainage systems and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th October 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
