Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order : A417 Ledbury Bypass, Ledbury, Temporary Speed Restriction Order. to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the A417 Ledbury Bypass, Ledbury, from the roundabout at the junction of the A417 and A449 to a point 370 meters south west of the roundabout. The said restriction is required due to carriageway construction and resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 23rd of October 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.
