PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL PARKING ENFORCEMENT) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wokingham Borough Council, on 2nd October 2017 has made the above-mentioned Consolidation Order ('the new Order') under sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 39, 45, 46, 49, 53 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended.
The effect of the new Order will be to consolidate the provisions of The Wokingham Borough Council (Various Roads, Wokingham Borough) (Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Unloading Prohibitions and Restrictions, Parking Places and Resident Permit Parking Places) (Map-based) Order 2017 to enable the introduction of civil parking enforcement within the Borough. There will be no change to the existing parking restrictions.
Copies of the new Order, which will come into force on 9th October 2017, and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection until the end of a period of six weeks from the date the 2017 Order is made between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday at: Highways and Transport, Wokingham Borough Council, Shute End, Wokingham RG40 1WH.
