BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - WHITEHAWK HILL ROAD, BRIGHTON

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 12th June 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which will come back into force on 9th October 2017 with the following effect:-

(a) The Temporary Prohibition of Northbound Traffic on Whitehawk Hill Road, between its junction with Upper Abbey Road and its junction with Walpole Road, except for emergency services.
(b) An alternative route for traffic will be via Upper Abbey Road and Walpole road

2.The Order is necessary to enable the safe movement of traffic in and out of the Royal Sussex County Hospital car park from the West end of the North Service Road

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force eighteen months or until su works are completed, which on 9th October 2017 for ch sooner time as the is anticipated to be 5 November 2017.
