WATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD NORTH WATFORD PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 1972 AMENDMENT NO.1 ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in the interests of road safety and to prevent obstruction to the free flow of traffic. The general effect of the Order shall be to: Add to prohibition and restriction of waiting at any time and amend Monday-Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions on St Albans Road outside property number 388 and 398. A copy of the Order which comes into operation on the 29th day of September 2017 when the lines are in place may be examined between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays at the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX. General enquiries relating to the proposals should be referred to Brian Scott Tel. 01923 278081 or email developmentcontrol@watford.gov.uk  Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
