WATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD VARIOUS ROADS RESTRICTION OF WAITING ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in the interests of road safety and to prevent obstruction to the free flow of traffic. The general effect of the Order shall be to: Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) at various locations on Warneford Place, King Edward Road, Holtsmere Close, Kingsfield Court, Kingsfield Road, Haines Way, Ridge Lane, Glen Way, Hempstead Road, Parkgate Road, Ross Crescent, Harris Road, Hemming Way, Garsmouth Way and introduce a no waiting Monday-Saturday 8am-6.30pm restriction on Chalk Hill.

A copy of the Order which comes into operation on the 29th day of September 2017 when the lines are in place may be examined between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays at the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX. General enquiries relating to the proposals should be referred to Brian Scott Tel. 01923 278081 or email developmentcontrol@watford.gov.uk  Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
