TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (CHEW MOOR LANE, ST JOHNS ROAD, NEW TEMPEST ROAD & TEMPEST ROAD, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) (NO.115) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 21 October 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Chew Moor Lane, St John’s Road, New Tempest Road and Tempest Road. Alternative route will be via Bolton Rd, Manchester Rd, Snydale Way, Wigan Rd, Beaumont Rd, Junction Rd West. The Order is necessary due to resurfacing works which will last for approximately 2 weekends and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
