WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Weights Lane, Redditch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed made: to close that part of Weights Lane, Redditch in three sections:-
(a) Birmingham Road - from its junction with B4101 Dagnell End Road for a distance of 198 metres in a southerly direction.
(b) Birmingham Road - from its junction with U22404 Weights Lane for a distance of 224 metres in a southerly direction.
(c) Weights Lane - from its junction with A441 Birmingham Road for a distance of 173 metres in awesterlydirection.
The Order has been made to facilitate surface course tarmac and road marking works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises frontingthehighwayaffected wherethereisno other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road, B4101 Dagnell End Road, B4497 Icknield Street, B4497 Paper Mill Drive, A4023 Coventry Highway/Coventry Highway Roundabout at B4497 junction, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Birmingham Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 nights (20:00hrs - 06:00hrs) Commencing: 23 October 2017.
(C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham from its junction with U30008 Swansbrook Lane to its junction with U32048 Yeats Acre in order to facilitate new water connection works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2038 Astwood Lane, U30013 Rockhill Lane, B4090 The Saltway, B4090 Alcester Road, C2038 High Street, C2038 Astwood Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration:18Months.Anticipatedduration: 2 days Commencing: 23 October 2017.
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Woodrow South, Redditch]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Redditch: Woodrow South (west side) from its junction with C2123 Woodrow Drive for a distance of 32 metres in a north easterly direction; (east side) from its junction with C2123 Woodrow Drive for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department, Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs, B988AH, and County Hall,Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
