Dorset County Council Temporary Closure of Stock Hill Lane, Holwell
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along STOCK HILL LANE, HOLWELL on bridge for a distance of approximately 30 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 30th October 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24th November 2017. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out repair and strengthening works of the highway bridge. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of C93, Woolcombe Railway Bridge, Melbury Bubb

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along MELBURY BUBB from Woolcombe Railway Bridge to junction with Haydon Lane, a distance of approximately 2135 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 16th October 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th October 2017. This order will enable British Telecom, safe access to carry out duct and cabling works in the highway.

An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Great Head Lane - Batcombe -Haydon Lane-Woolcombe
