Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Oxford, Portland Road Suspension of Parking - No Waiting Date of Order: 25 September 2017 Coming into force: 26 September 2017 This Order is being introduced facilitate access for development works which are anticipated to take until 1 May 2018 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend permit parking & 2 hour waiting in Portland Road as described below:

This Order is being introduced facilitate access for development works which are anticipated to take until 1 May 2018 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend permit parking & 2 hour waiting in Portland Road as described below:

(a) Two Hour Parking Places (Mon-Sun 8am-6:30pm): One parking space on the north side west of the site entrance;



Three parking spaces on the south side opposite the entrance;

(b) Permit Holders Only Places (Mon-Fri 10am-4pm):One parking space on the north side east of the entrance. The suspended places will temporarily be covered by double yellow lines.



Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and delivery vehicles. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

The relevant parts of The Oxfordshire County Council (Summertown) (Controlled Parking Zone and Various Restrictions) Order 2004 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended.
