BOURNEMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL WIMBORNE ROAD WESTBOUND a SIDE ROADS, BROADWAY/EAST HOWE LANE JUNCTION - HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below to control traffic movement and parking. Highway infrastructure improvement works by Bournemouth Borough Council will be phased over a 6 month period from 02/10/17 to 31/03/18, to include traffic signals upgrade and highway resurfacing. Dates shown for the restrictions are anticipated and subject to change.

PHASE 1 and 2: Kerbing works on Wimborne Road and works at the junction of Wimborne Road with East Howe Lane & The Broadway - 02/10/17 to 22/12/17 Road closed to all motorised vehicles:

* The Broadway - at its junction with Wimborne Road (diversion via Horsham Avenue and Kinson Park Road)
* East Howe Lane - at its junction with Wimborne Road (diversion via Kinson Road)

PHASE 3: Works on Wimborne Road - 05/02/18 to 02/03/18 Road closed to all motorised vehicles

* Wimborne Road westbound - from its junction with Millhams Road (roundabout) to its junction with Northbourne Avenue (diversion via Northbourne Avenue, Leybourne Avenue, East Howe Lane and Kinson Road, with separate route for HGVs)

No parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (for safe passage of traffic on diversion route)

* Northbourne Avenue on both sides of the road in the following sections: from property No.10 to No.20, No.30 to 56, No.94 to the junction with Leybourne Avenue

No right turn from the following roads onto Wimborne Road (when southern side of Wimborne Road is closed for works)

* Horsham Avenue
* Kinson Grove (western and eastern junction)
* The Broadway

No left turn from the following roads onto Wimborne Road (when northern side of Wimborne Road is closed for works)

* Kitscroft Road
* Graycot Close
* East Howe Lane

Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety and diversion routes will be in operation.
