WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Walton Lane (Service Road), Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017

Proposed Order: to close that part of Walton Lane (Service Road), Hartlebury from its junction with C2030 Walton Road for the entire length of the service road in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2030 Walton Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 16 October 2017.

(C2020 Arley Lane, School Lane & Frenchman’s Street, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2016
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2020 Arley Lane, School Lane & Frenchman’s Street, Bewdley from its junction with C2133 Lion Lane for the entirety of C2020 Arley Lane, School Lane & Frenchman’s Street in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. No alternative route available. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days: Commencing: 16 October 2017.

(New Wood Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of New Wood Lane, Kidderminster from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road for a distance of 513 metres in a north easterly direction in order to facilitate gas works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A456 Birmingham Road, B4188 Belbroughton Road, A450 Worcester Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 16 October 2017.

(Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Place on Wood Street, Kidderminster] On 7 September 2017
Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking place on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster: Wood Street (north east side) from a point 23 metres north west of its junction with Castle Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. The Order will come into operation on 28 September 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Medal Close and Hurcott Road, Kidderminster] On 7 September 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster: Medal Close (east side) from its junction with Hurcott Road for a distance of 6.9 metres in a north westerly direction; (west side) from a point 4.2 metres from its junction with Hurcott Road for a distance of 3.9 metres in a north westerly direction. Hurcott Road (north side) from its junction with Medal Close for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 28 September 2017.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:- Stourport Road Service Road (northwest side) from its junction with Oldington Trading Estate Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction and 21 metres in a north easterly direction. Oldington Trading Estate Road (both sides) from its junction with Stourport Road Service Road for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/ representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 19 October 2017.

(Doverdale Avenue, Kidderminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of Doverdale Avenue, Kidderminster from its junction with Queen Elizabeth Road to its junction with Broom Crescent in order to facilitate Carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Queen Elizabeth Road, Hawford Avenue, Broom Crescent and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 16 October 2017.
