LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to further amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) would be prohibited at any time in the lengths of Deer Park Gardens specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
4. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/WRDEERPARKGARDENS, no later than 13 October 2017. Deer Park Gardens
(I) the northern arm, between Nos. 31 and 47 Deer Park Gardens;
(II) the carriageway immediately surrounding the Deer Park Gardens green space, except for 9 metres at its northernmost extremity and 5 metres at its southernmost extremity;

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 19 September 2017, under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose made the above mentioned Orders.
2. The general effect of the above mentioned "Free Parking Places" Order will be to: -
(a) designate parking places on the carriageway at the locations listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice in which vehicles authorised by the Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking places will operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc;
(e) revoke the disabled persons parking places at the locations listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
3. The general effect of the "Parking Places Amendment" Orders will be to shorten in length existing permit parking places in, Belvedere Square, Cowdrey Road, Park Road and Southdown Road to facilitate the installation of disabled persons parking places in those roads and to increase the permit parking place facility in Compton Road further to the removal of a disabled persons parking place.
4. A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 2 October 2017, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at: Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey SM4 5DX.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON THE MERTON (BUS PRIORITY) (NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2017
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 19 September 2017, made
the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the "Bus Priority" Order will be to revoke the Merton (Bus Priority) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2017 and re-introduce its provisions with the following amendments:-
(a) taxis will be permitted to use the bus lane in London Road, the northwest side, from a point 28 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western kerb-line of Chatsworth Place, north-eastward to a point 10 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western kerb-line of Langdale Avenue;
(b) local buses and pedal cycles only will be permitted in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice, rather than buses and pedal cycles.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 29 September 2017, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 19 September 2017 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places MTC' Order will be to: -
(a) revoke the Merton (Parking Places) (MTC) Order 2016 and re-introduce its provisions with amendments to designate parking places that will operate Mondays to Saturdays between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 11.00 p.m. inclusive in certain lengths of the Langdale Avenue specified in the Schedule to this notice; and
(b) specify that-
(i) each parking place may be used, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the leaving during the permitted hours of such vehicles as are passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, or invalid carriages displaying a valid parking ticket or for which payment has been made using the "pay by phone" system. Motor cycles park free;
(ii) the maximum parking period for which a vehicle, displaying a valid parking ticket or for which payment has been made using "pay by phone" may be left in a parking place referred to in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) above during the permitted hours will be 2 hours with no return for 1 hour;
(iii) the charge for parking in the parking places will be first 20 minutes free, then £1.20 per hour, pro rata for part of an hour with a minimum payment of 40 pence for a pay and display ticket and a 20 pence convenience fee for payment by phone.
3. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading' Order will amend waiting restrictions in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice so that they operate between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 11.00 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays.
4. The general effect of the 'Free Parking Places' Order will be to:-
(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway outside No. 27 Abbott Avenue in which vehicles authorised by the Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking place will operate at all times;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking place, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking place in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc.
