CHESHIRE EAST BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Station Road, Mobberley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, RTC parapet repair Prohibition of traffic-Station Road, Mobberley From the junction with Smith Lane for approximately 100 metres The alternative route will be via Smith Lane, Slade Lane, Hobcroft Lane, Station Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on 2nd October 2017 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th October 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, cabling works Prohibition of traffic-Lowe Drive, Knutsford Outside property numbers 19, 21 & 23
The alternative route will be via Lowe Drive, Manor Park North, Manor Crescent and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on 2nd October 2017 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th October 2017. NOTICE OF MAKING (Longridge, Knutsford) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that on the 14th September 2017, Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 25th September 2017, will be to introduce
a) a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days in the following lengths of roads as detailed;
Longridge (West Side) - From the projected kerb line of its junction with Knutsford Road/ Mobberley Road for a distance of 167 metres in a general southerly direction Longridge (West Side) - From a point 200 metres south east of the projected kerb line of its junction with Knutsford Road/Mobberley Road for a distance of 63 metres in a general south easterly direction Longridge (East Side) - From the projected kerb line of its junction with Knutsford Road/ Mobberley Road for a distance of 43.5 metres in a southerly direction Longridge (East Side) - From a point 13.5 north of the centre point of its junction with an unnamed access road for a distance of 26 metres in a southerly direction Longridge (East Side) - From a point 41.5 metres south of the centre point of its junction with the unnamed access road for distance of 130 metres in a general south easterly direction
2. A copy of the Order, a map showing the restricted area, a statement of reasons for making the order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during the usual office hours at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ and at Knutsford Library, Toft Road, Knutsford, WA16 0PG
3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
