WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. (Footpath DL-534, Dodderhill)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017
Order made: to close the entire length of Footpath DL-534, Dodderhill. The Order is being made to facilitate structural strengthening of the abutment walls of the underpass. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route is along Footpaths DL-533, DL-530, DL-529 and DL-528, Dodderhill, C2085 Crown Lane, U42012 Colley Pit Lane, and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 13 weeks commencing on 25 September 2017.

(Bridleway DW-531, Droitwich, and part of Bridleway HZ-515, Hadzor) (Temporary Closure Order) 2017 Order made: to close the entire length of Bridleway DW-531, Droitwich, and part of Bridleway HZ-515, Hadzor between its junction with Bridleway DW-531 and grid reference 390835 262219. The Order is being made to facilitate structural strengthening of the abutment walls of the underpass. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: is along the remaining section of Bridleway HZ-515, Footpaths HZ-517, HZ-503 and HZ-504, Hadzor, U42216 Hadzor Lane, U42215 Middle Lane, C2076 Tagwell Road, Bridleway DW-530, Droitwich, and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 13 weeks commencing on 25 September 2017.

(Uplands Grove, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of Uplands Grove, Bromsgrove from its junction with Elm Grove to its junction with Upland Road in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Upland Road, Elm Grove and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 16 October 2017.

(Windmill Avenue (Service Road) Rubery, Bromsgrove (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making Orders the effect of which will be to impose a one way traffic Order on the following road in Rubery, Bromsgrove:- Windmill Avenue (Service Road) for its entire length. Traffic may only proceed in a southerly direction The Order will not apply to road cleansing vehicles. A copy of the draft Orders, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and any affected existing Orders may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, Worcs., B61 8DA and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objection/representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall to be received by 18 October 2017.

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Revocation of Disabled Persons’ Parking Place on Willow Gardens, Bromsgrove]
On 7 September 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to revoke a disabled persons’ parking place on the following length and side of road in Bromsgrove: Willow Gardens (west side) from a point 74.6 metres north of its junction with New Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 21 September 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, Worcs., B61 8DA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Church Road and New Road, Bromsgrove]
On 7 September 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bromsgrove: Church Road (west side) from its junction with New Road for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction. New Road (north side) from its junction with Church Road for a distance of 22.2 metres in a westerly direction; (south side) from its junction with Church Road for a distance of 27.3 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 21 September 2017. (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on North Bank, Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich:- North Bank ( northeast side) from a point 2.5 metres southeast of its junction with Long Bank for a distance of 7.5 metres in a south easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
