BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (YEOVIL ROAD, SANDHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along Yeovil Road between its junctions with Owlsmoor Road and College Road. The alternative route for the closure between Owlsmoor Road and Branksome Hill Road is via Branksome Hill Road, Yorktown Road, A3095 Rackstraw Road, and Owlsmoor Road, or this route reversed. The alternative route for the closure between College Road and Branksome Hill Road is via Branksome Hill Road, Richmond Road, and College Road, or this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on the highway namely re-placement of a gas mains pipe.
The Order was made on 2nd October and will come into operation on the 16th October 2017. Its maximum duration will be 12 months or until the completion of the works whichever shall be the earlier. It is currently programmed that the closure will be phased in sections along the road between 16th October 2017 and 31st January 2018.
