LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 - SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC PLANNED CARRIAGEWAY MAINTENANCE 2017 COOL OAK LANE NW9

WHEREAS the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Barnet acting by the Council of the said Borough by Jamie Blake, Strategic Director for Environment (hereinafter called 'the Council') being the highway authority for the affected roads in the said London Borough are satisfied that, owing to the need to enable bridge parapet repairs, and bridge deck resurfacing and ancillary works to take place, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to close Cool Oak Lane NW9 between its junctions with Woolmead Avenue and Kinloch Drive, and to prohibit parking within the roads or parts of road when the closure is in place. The Order will also have the effect of closing roads at their junctions with Cool Oak Lane, if appropriate. The Order will commence at 12.01am on Thursday 21st September 2017 and will last until 31st December 2017. The temporary prohibitions will only be in effect when indicated by the presence of appropriate signs and/or traffic cones/barriers.

Any vehicle parked in contravention of the provisions of this Order may be removed. The alternative route for motorists will be via
(i) A5 West Hendon Broadway A406 North Circular Road, A4088 Neasden Lane, A4088 Blackbird Hill, B454 Church Lane and Wood Lane and vice versa, and
(ii) A5 West Hendon Broadway A5The Hyde, A4006 Kingsbury Road, B454 Church Lane and Wood Lane and vice versa.
