ORCHID VALE SCHOOL PARKING RESTRICTIONS AND ZEBRA CROSSING
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Council made and Experimental Order and give notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follow:

Introduce an experimental Order to be operative from the 25 September 2017 for the duration of 12 months.to impose 'no waiting at any time', 'no waiting and loading at any time' and 'limited waiting' on Torun Way.
Give notice of the intention to implement a zebra crossing on Torun Way in front of the pedestrian entrance of Orchid Vale school.

A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours or online on www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders.
The Experimental Order has been made to allow for an assessment of the changes before a decision is taken to make them permanent. Any person wishing to make representations whether to object or support the Order before they are made permanent must do so in writing quoting the reference (TRO/Orchid Vale) specifying the grounds on which they are made within 6 months of the Experimental Order coming into force or if the Orders are subsequently varied or modified within 6 months of the variation or modification coming into force.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 13 September 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
