BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -PARTY CONFERENCE

1.
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 12 September 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) Prohibition of traffic in Russell Road from the west side of the Service Road between the Russell Road NCP Car Park and the Brighton Centre to the Exit from Churchill Square Car Park 1.
(b) Two way traffic flow in the eastern section of Russell Road from the junction with Cannon Place for a distance of 30 metres.
(c) Prohibit the right turn movement from Kings Road to Queensbury Mews
(d) Suspend the existing loading bays located on the eastern side of Cannon Place, for the length of the layby and to substitute with no waiting or unloading at any time. Vehicles parked within this area may be removed.
(e) Suspend the existing loading bays located on the western side of Cannon Place, for the length of the layby and to substitute with no waiting or unloading at any time. Vehicles parked within this area may be removed.
(f) Prohibition of vehicles southbound in Cannon Place From the junction of Russell Road to the junction of Kings Road.

2.The Order is necessary for the safety of the public and delegates

Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force on 20 September 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
