Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1247 Tregate Lane from the A466, Welsh Newton, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1247 Tregate Lane from the A466 between the junction of Llanrothal Road to The Cwm house OS Grid Ref: 348370 / 217480. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A466 onto Rockfield Road onto Tregate Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the renewal of an existing stop tap and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th September 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
