TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.34) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of an area of footway which lies adjacent to number 2 Clarendon Road, Pitsea in the District of Basildon, to enable development as permitted by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, reference APP/V1505/W/17/3172696.

Copiesofthe Ordermaybe obtained, free ofcharge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/2566) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Basildon District Council, St Martins Square,

Basildon, SS14 1DL.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 22 September 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
