LEVER ST FOOTBRIDGE CLOSURE THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (LEVER STREET FOOTBRIDGE, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.134) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, operative on 23 September 2017, the effect of which will be to prohibit all pedestrians and traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Lever Street (footbridge), from Moncrieffe St to Back Buckthorpe St. Alternative route will be via Orlando St, Manchester Rd. The Order is necessary due to bridge maintenance works which will last for approximately 6 days and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
