Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Chesterton, Alchester Road and The Hale Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 September 2017 Coming into force: 29 September 2017 This Order is being introduced because of a new gas main installation to be carried out in 2 phases. Phase 1 on Alchester Road to start 29 September for 4 weeks, Phase 2 on The Hale to start on 23 October for 4 weeks. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the length of Alchester Road from its junction with the A4095 Bignell View southeast to Orchard Rise, and The Hale from theA4095 South to Green Lane.

This Order is being introduced because of a new gas main installation to be carried out in 2 phases. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the length of Alchester Road from its junction with the A4095 Bignell View southeast to Orchard Rise, and The Hale from theA4095 South to Green Lane.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative routes for traffic are for Alchester Road is via A4095 Bignell View, Green Lane and vice versa. For The Hale via Green Lane, Alchester Road,A4095 BignellView and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
