Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of road number 401500 Cutwell from outside the electricity substation to the south side of the Ford for a distance of approximately 132 metres. The reason for the closure is to accommodate patching works. The road is expected to be closed from 08:00 until 16:30 on 15th September 2017 only or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ALONG PART OF THE A429 TETBURY ROAD, TOWN OF CIRENCESTER, COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to a maximum of 40mph along part of A429 Tetbury Road from outside Steadings Cottages to the Stroud Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 350 metres. The reason for the restriction is to faciliate underground cabling works. The road is expected to be restricted for two nights only during the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 from 18th September 2017 until 21st September 2017 or until the works have been completed. PLEASE NOTE: Due to an administrative error outside of the County Council’s control it has been necessary to re-advertise this proposal. NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order in not less than 21 days to close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of 3/332 Hangmans Stone to Countryside Museum from the junction with A429 to the junction with 3/146 Cheltenham Road to Fosseway, a total distance of approximately 1 mile. The road falls within the Hampnett and Northleach Parishes in the Cotswold District Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary due to structural damage to a retaining wall; carriageway may be in danger of collapse. The road will be closed on 9 October 2017 and this order will remain in force for as long as necessary.
