LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET THE BARNET (WEIGHT RESTRICTION) (NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2017

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet has made on 14th September 2017, the above-mentioned Order under Section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Barnet (Weight Restriction) Traffic Order 1994 introduced a 5 tonnes weight limit in Brunswick Avenue N11, Brunswick Crescent N11 and Brunswick Grove N11. The general effect of the Order will be to revoke and reintroduce, with no change in substance, the provisions the 1994 Order.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday 18th September 2017 and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays Excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
