PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Station Road, Fernhill Heath)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of Station Road, Fernhill Heath from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with C2139 Strand Lane in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2139 Ladywood Road, C2086 Ladywood Road, C2086 Copcut Lane, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 20 September 2017.

(Lower Crowle Road, Crowle)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of Lower Crowle Road, Crowle from its junction with C2032 Old Turnpike Road to its junction with Froxmere Road in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2032 Old Turnpike Road, C2078 Church Road, Froxmere Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 19 September 2017.

NB: previous commencement date of 11 September 2017 has been amended.

(C2068 Hockhams Lane & Ockeridge, Martley/Wichenford)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2068 Hockhams Lane & Ockeridge, Martley/ Wichenford from its junction with B4197 Hillside to its junction with C2068 Wichenford in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2068 Wichenford, C2243 Wichenford, C2243 Horne Lane, B4197 Hillside and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 9 October 2017.

(C2068 Wichenford)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2068 Wichenford from its junction with C2068 Ockeridge to its junction with C2243 Wichenford in order to facilitate Carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2243 Wichenford, C2243 Horne Lane, B4197 Hillside, C2068 Hockhams Lane, C2068 Ockeridge and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 9 October 2017.
(C2298 Bransford Road, Rushwick)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2298 Bransford Road, Rushwick from its junction with A4103 Bransford to its junction with A4440 Grove Way Roundabout in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4103 Bransford, A4440 Grove Way and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 9 October 2017.

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Lavender Road, Worcester]
On 31 August 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and side of road in Worcester: Lavender Road (south side) from a point 90 metres west of its junction with Ivy Street for a distance of 9 metres in a westerly direction and from a point 138 metres west of its junction with Ivy Street for a distance of 94 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 21 September 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Mill Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making Orders the effect of which will be to impose a one way traffic Order on the following road in Worcester:- Mill Street from its junction with Portland Street to its junction with Willow Street. Traffic may only proceed in a north westerly then south westerly direction. The Order will not apply to road cleansing vehicles. A copy of the draft Orders, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and any affected existing Orders may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
