The Order will be effective from Monday 2nd October 2017 for 7 weeks and work will be undertaken in phases as detailed below:
Phase 1: Road resurfacing work to be undertaken between 9:30 to 3:30pm and 7pm to 1am on Stretton Road from A49 London Road to Blackcap Road.
Phase 2: Footways work to be undertaken between 9:30am to 3:30pm on Stretton Road from Blackcap Road to Arley Road.
The alternative routes are as detailed below:
Phase 1: A49 London Road to Blackcap Road via London Road, Longwood Road, Dipping Brook Road, Blackcap Road and vice versa.
Phase 2: Blackcap Road to Arley Road via Blackcap Road, Dipping Brook Road, Longwood Road, Witherwin Avenue, Lumb Brook Road and vice versa.
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake highway improvement works, including kerbing, drainage, new footway construction and carriageway surfacing. Ref: HIGH/1774

Warrington New Bridge - To prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Warrington New Bridge from making a
right hand turn onto Warrington Old Bridge.
Warrington Old Bridge - To prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Warrington Old Bridge from making a right hand turn into Mersey Street.
The Order will be effective from Sunday 17th September 2017 between the hours of 4.00am and 2:00pm. The restrictions will be in place when the relevant signs are on site.
The alternative route will be via London Road, Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington New Bridge, Bridge Foot, Wilson Patten Street, Parker Street, Liverpool Road, Sankey Way, Priestley Street, Froghall Lane, Midland Way, Manchester Road, Kingsway North, Kingsway South, Knutsford Road, Cliff Lane and vice versa. The restrictions are required to facilitate The English Half Marathon Festival of Run. Ref: HIGH/1790

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) CONSOLIDATION (AMENDMENT N0.27) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and advertised the details of the proposals on 7th September 2017. However an incorrect date was provided for the receipt of objections. Therefore the objection period for which objections or support for the proposals must be received by is 5th October 2017.
Details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted area and a Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.
All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Jo Nugent of the Legal Services Section or delivered by hand to the address above and all objections must specify trie grounds on which they are made.
