Dorset County Council Temporary Closure of B3I43 Henley to Holcombe Dairy Lane

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3 143 Alton Pancras to Henley. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 25th September 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6th October 2017. This order will enable the following works;

[1] To close the road between Henley Hillbillies to the junction of Hilling Lane between 25 September 2017 and 6 October 2017 (24/7) Wessex Water, safe access to install a new water main in the highway. [2] To close the road between The Old School House to Little Holcombe between 25 September 2017 and 27 September 2017 (0930 - 1530) British Telecom, safe access to overhead network for new customer connection. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; B3 143 - Knapps Lane - C12 Old Sherborne Road - Cerne Hill - B3143

Temporary Closure of Jessops Cottage, Hillfield
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HILLFIELD from Jessops Cottage in a northerly direction for 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 18th September 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6th October 2017.
This order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to replace a water main.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Hillfield Lane
