THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN INEWFIELD DRIVE, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to facilitate resurfacing of carriageway.
The effect of the Order is to close Newfield Drive, Blackburn from a point 60metres west of its junction with Roman Road for a distance of 145 westerly and then northerly direction.
The Order will come into force from 25th September 2017 to 6th October 2017 or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
The proposed diversion route for affected traffic will be via Fishmoor Drive, Roman Road, Newfield Drive and vice versa.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
