VARIATION OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 BY REVOKING ALL EXISTING SEALED PLANS AND REPLACING WITH A NEW SET OF SEALED PLANS
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make a Variation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 ("the 2017 Order") by revoking the existing sealed plans affixed with the common seal of the County Council and incorporated within the 2017 Order. These will be replaced by a new setofsealed planswhich will be incorporated within the 2017 Order Thisis principallyan administrative change which will permitthe CountyCouncil to replace the currentmap based system with a new version which showsthe parking restrictions in anewvisual format. In moving between the digital mapping systems, several visualisation inconsistences were identified between the digital record and a number of the sealed plans. In carrying out this exercise the plans referred to in the schedule below have been corrected to remove any anomalies, full details of which are to be found in the accompanying Statement of Reasons SCHEDULE

The 2017Orderwill bevariedbythe attachmentofplansasusedin this consultation andwhich identifytheroadsorsidesofroadstowhich the prohibitionsandrestrictionsofwaiting,loading andparkingplacesaffect. Thisvariation shall come intooperation within 14 days ofsealing the new plans and cited as the Gloucestershire County Council On-Street Parking Order 2017 byrevoking all existing sealed plans and replacing with a newsetof sealed plans. This administrative change updates the plans throughoutthe Countyand therefore affectseveryDistrict. The usual exemptions continue to apply to Statutory Undertakers and LocalAuthorityvehiclescarryingoutdutiesin exerciseoftheirstatutory powers, and also in the case ofemergencyservicesvehicles and disabled persons vehicles.

Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of
roadnumber400702High StreetAccessRoadfrom theWarMemorial
toRedesdaleArmsforadistance ofapproximately190metres.
The reason for the closure is to accommodate patching.
The road isexpected to be closed atnightonlybetween the hours of
18:00 and 23:00 from 18th September 2017 until 20th September 2017
