SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, OLD WALCOT) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2016 AND SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2014 (VARIATION NO. 1) ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 6 September 2017 the above Orders were made under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: The effect of the Orders is as follow:
Implementation of 20mph Speed Limit on the following length of road in Old Walcot; Queens Drive (the section servicing Property No's 100 to 174 Queens Drive) and from its junction with Calvert Road to its junction with Eastern Avenue.
Implementation of 20 mph Speed Limit on the entire lengths of the following roads in Old Walcot:
Alvescot Road, Ashwell Close, Bampton Grove, Bibury Road, Brixham Avenue, Burford Avenue, Campden Road, Calvert Road, Caversham Close, Cumberland Road, Dudmore Road, Eastern Avenue, Falmouth Grove, Keyneston Road, Langford Grove, Merrivale Grove, Munro Close, Norton Grove, Parklands Road, Salcombe Grove, Shipton Grove, South View Avenue, Swallowfield Avenue, Thurlestone Road, Upham Road, Walcot Road, Woodside Avenue.
Implement a 'no waiting at any time' at the junction of Thames Avenue and Avonmead.
The Orders will be operative as of 11 September 2017 and a copy of the Orders may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Swindon.

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 6 September 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose
