ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL LYON ROAD EASTBURN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 741) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Lyon Road, Eastburn intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Lyon Road from a point outside No 8 Lyon Road to a point outside No 15 Lyon Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Lyon Road (unaffected section), Green Lane, Main Road, Skipton Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 on 18th September 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
