WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Church Road and Jamaica Road, Malvern]

On 24 August 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Malvern:-

Church Road (north side) from its junction with Jamaica Road for a distance of 23 metres in a westerly direction and 20 metres in an easterly direction. Jamaica Road (both sides) from its junction with Church Road for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 7 September 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Malvern Library, Graham Road, Malvern, Worcs., WR14 2HU, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Bosbury Road, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of Bosbury Road, Malvern from its junction with Jamaica Road to its junction with Eastabrook Close in orderto facilitate Severn Trentworks.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Jamaica Road, Greenfields Road, C2205 Upper Howsell Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 4 September 2017.

(U63447 Halfkey Road, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of U63447 Halfkey Road, Malvern from its junction with B4503 Leigh Sinton Road to its junction with U63454 Kinnersley Road in order to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions:to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access;and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U63454 Kinnersley Road, U63453 Westward Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 21 days Commencing: 4 September 2017.

(C2206 Stocks Lane, Leigh Sinton)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Ordermade:to close that part of C2206 Stocks Lane, Leigh Sinton from its junction with U62241 Hoopers Close to its junction with C2206 Service Road on Worcester Road in order to facilitate Severn Trentworks.
Exemptions:to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2206 Service Road on Worcester Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Malvern Road, A4103 Leigh Sinton, C2206 Stocks Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 11 days Commencing: 4 September 2017.
