Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U71015 Glewstone Road from Owls Oak Glewstone to A40 Pencraig, Pencraig, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U71015 Glewstone Road from Owls Oak Glewstone to A40 Pencraig outside Mount Craig Hall OS Grid Ref: 356166 / 221278. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1248 onto the A4137 onto the A40 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the repair of a leaking water ferrule and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th September 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
