LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20** THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both avalid disabled blue badge and adedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay outside the following locations:
26 Meadfield HA8 (by converting an existing general disabled permit holders only parking bay),
39 Hemming Road HA8 (by converting alength of resident permit holders only parking bay),
26 Hertford Road EN4,
6/8 Goldbeaters Grove HA8, 31 Station Road HA8 (by converting a length of payment parking bay/general limited stay disabled badge holders parking bay),
30 Bellevue Road N11, 51 Victoria Grove N12 (by converting a length of permit holders only parking bay),
4a Church Crescent N3 (by converting a length of permit holders only parking bay), and 85 Hillview Gardens NW4. Ageneral disabled permit holders only parking bay operational Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm will also be provided on Carnarvon Road EN5 adjacent to the library.

The Free Order would also remove redundant disabled parking bays outside 1 Leicester Road N2 (to be replaced with resident permit holders only parking), 5 Saffron Close NW11 (to be replaced with resident permit holders only parking), 6 Woodside NW11, 1 Halifax,Great Strand NW9, 5 Fairey, Great Strand NW9, and 13 Wellington, Field Mead NW9. Furthermore, without making any change to any existing on-street provision, restrictions or prohibitions, the free Order would formalise an existing designated disabled permit holder only parking bay outside no. 22 Goldsmith Avenue NW9. In order to accommodate the introduction of 'dropped kerb' vehicle crossovers to enable access to off-street parking facilities, the general effect of the Orders would also be to remove existing parking spaces and replace with yellow line waiting restrictions as follows:

A copy of the proposed Orders, associated plans of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:

b) Reception, Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG
