SOUTHEND-ON-SEA BOROUGH COUNCIL (LAWN AVENUE SOUTHEND-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) ORDER 2017

Notice is hereby given
that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

Effect of the order
To temporarily close that length of Lawn Avenue from its junction with Bournemouth Park Road to its junction with The Grove. To temporarily close that length of Lawn Avenue from its junction with Bournemouth Park Road to its junction with The Grove. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th September 2017 for 1 day or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The alternative routes will be via The Grove, Tennyson Avenue and Bournemouth Park Road and vice versa and will be signed on site.Access for Emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained where possible.

The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst manhole replacement works take place.

(MONTAGUE AVENUE LEIGH-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) ORDER 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

To temporarily close that length of Montague Avenue from its junction with Highlands Boulevard to its junction with Vardon Drive. To temporarily close that length of Montague Avenue from its junction with Highlands Boulevard to its junction with Vardon Drive. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2017 for 8 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The alternative routes will be via Highlands Boulevard Edinburgh Avenue and Vardon Drive and vice versa and will be signed on site.Access for Emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

The Order will come into effect on 8th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst carriageway remedial works take place.
The prohibitions or restrict ions w ill apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL DIRECTIONS 2016. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
