ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
HAWTHORNE STREET THORNBURY BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 743) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable reconfiguration and resurfacing works proposed to be executed on or near Hawthorne Street, Thornbury intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Hawthorne Street from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Leeds Old Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Leeds Road and Leeds Old Road.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th September 2017 and remain in force until 12th October 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 24th day of August 2017
