ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BECKFOOT LANE BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 734) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable electrical works proposed to be executed on or near Beckfoot Lane, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Beckfoot Lane from a point outside Shipley Golf Club to a point outside Beckfoot Mill.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Beckfoot Lane (unaffected section), Bradford Road, Main Street, Harden Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 10:30 to 14:30 on 4th September 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 24th day of August 2017
