Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1189 Breinton Lane, Stretton Sugwas, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1189 Breinton Lane from the juction of the A438 for approximately 400m OS Grid Ref: 346613 / 241471. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1190 onto the A438 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new foul sewer connection and gas main for a new development and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th September 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
