THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF CHANDLERS LANE, CHANDLERS CROSS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Chandlers Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with White Shack Lane north westwards to its junction with Templepan Lane ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 570 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill and Toms Hill.
The Order is needed because customer service restoration works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 August 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD AND OLD SHIRE LANE, CHORLEYWOOD)

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. that length of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Garston Lane north eastwards and northwards for adistance of approximately 200 metres.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A41 North Western Avenue, A405 North Orbital Road and A412 St Albans Road.
2. that length of Old Shire Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road south westwards to its junction with Piggy Lane, a distance of approximately 547 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing and repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 29 August 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlengthofMildred Avenue, Watfordfrom its junction with Harwoods Road south westwards for adistance of approximately 138 metres ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative westbound route will be via Haiwoods Road, Kings Avenue, Queens Avenue and Mildred Avenue
An alternative eastbound route will be via Mildred Avenue, Queens Avenue, Kensington Avenue and Harwoods Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 September 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY IN HERTFORDSHIRE THE HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (ALDENHAM 95 & 96 AND ELSTREE & BOREHAMWOOD 64 & 65)
MODIFICATION ORDER 2017
The above Order made on 18th August 2017, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Mapand Statement for the area by:-Adding to them a public footpath from Aldenham footpath 52 and Elstree & Borehamwood footpath 1 at TQ 1669 9585 south west across the grass between the car park and Aldenham Reservoir for 170 metres to the woodland at TQ 1659 9572. Continuing south then east within the woodland, past the children's play area, for 290 metres to TQ 1679 9557. Continuing south on the west side of Aldenham Reservoir for 170 metres to TQ 1676 9540 and then west and north west for 180 metres to TQ 1660 9546. Continuing north west then south west adjacent to paddocks at Aldenham Country Park for 140 metres to TQ 1652 9540. Continuing south and south east for 250 metres to cross the bridge at TQ 1672 9530 and continuing south east then south for 200 metres to TQ 1679 9514 then east north east on the south side of Aldenham Reservoir, parallel to A411 Watford Road for 430 metres to Elstree & Borehamwood footpath 5 at TQ 1716 9525.
A copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at Front Reception of Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday and at Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD61WA. Copies of the Order and Plan may be bought at the price of £2.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Definitive Map Officer, Rights of Way Unit, Environment Department, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford, Hertfordshire SG13 8DN (ref: HTM/205/MOD) to arrive no later than 6th October 2017 and applicants must include particulars of the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Hertfordshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the Order If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
