NOTICE UNDER THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS 2011 (as amended) ("EIA Regulations") NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 22 - FURTHER INFORMATION AND EVIDENCE RESPECTING ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENTS PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH (NIMR), THE RIDGEWAY, MILL HILL NW7 1AA
On 15 July 2016 Barratt London submitted a full planning application (reference 16/4545/FUL) to the London Borough of Barnet for: Redevelopment of the site to provide 460 new residential units following demolition of all existing buildings. New residential accommodation to consist of 448 self-contained flats within 19 blocks ranging from three to nine storeys with basement car parking levels and 12 two storey houses with lower ground floor levels. Associated car and cycle parking spaces to be provided. Provision of new office (B1a) and leisure {02) floorspace and a new publicly accessible cafe (A3). Reconfiguration of the site access and internal road arrangements and provision of new publicly accessible outdoor amenity space. New associated refuse and recycling arrangements.
The application is accompanied by an environmental statement in accordance with the EIA Regulations.
Further to a direction by the Mayor of London on 2 May 2017 that he will act as the Local Planning Authority for the purposes of determining planning application reference 16/4S45/FUL, the applicant has submitted revisions to the application. The revisions make amendments to plans and planning documents, and involve the reduction in proposed car parking from 613 spaces to 535 spaces, the repositioning of proposed blocks J1, J2, J3, K1 and K2, reconfiguration of the internal access road, reduction in proposed tree removals and additional landscaping.
The applicant has submitted other environmental information under Regulation 22 of the EIA Regulations in relation to the Environmental Statement which has already been provided.
This information can be inspected by members of the public at all reasonable hours at City Hall, The Queen's Walk, London SE1 2AA and at Barnet House, 1255 High Road, London N20 OEJ for 21 days beginning with the date of publication of this notice. The latest date on which it will be available for inspection will therefore be 14 September 2017.
