ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (Purley-on-Thames, footpath 8/2 (The Thames footpath) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2017

West Berkshire District Council has made an Order in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit persons from using footpath 8/2 Purley-on-Thames (The Thames footpath) from a point 150 metres north west of Mapledurham Lock to a point 50 metres further to the north west.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on or near the Footpath, namely installation of a fish pass. Pedestrians will be diverted around a temporary path around the rear of the works. The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th August 2017 and remain in force for 6 months or until works are completed whichever is the sooner. The Order was made on 21st August 2017.
