TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -WHITEHAWK HILL ROAD, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 12 June 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which will come back into force on 29 August 2017 with the following effect:-
(a) The Temporary Prohibition of Northbound Traffic on Whitehawk Hill Road, between its junction with Upper Abbey Road and its junction with Walpole Road, except for emergency services.
(b) An alternative route for traffic will be via Upper Abbey Road and Walpole road
2.The Order is necessary to enable the safe movement of traffic in and out of the Royal Sussex County Hospital car park from the West end of the North Service Road
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 29 August 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 24 September 2017.
