Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2189 Porchbrook Road, Kidderminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2189 Porchbrook Road, Kidderminster from its junction with C2132 Rectory Lane to its junction with C2189 Porchbrook Road in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2189 Quarry Road, C2189 Boraston Road, C2193 Gorst Hill, C2193 Pound Lane, A456 Tenbury Road, C2132 Rectory Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 18 September 2017.
(A448 Comberton Road, Kidderminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of A448 Comberton Road, Kidderminster from its junction with Hill Grove Crescent to its junction with Barnetts Lane in order to facilitate water utility works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A448 Comberton Road, A448 Stone Hill, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A449 Worcester Road, A449 Chester Road, South and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 17 September 2017.
(C2030 Station Road, Hartlebury)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2030 Station Road, Hartlebury from its junction with C2030 Old Worcester Road to its junction with U40004 Whitelenge Lane in order to facilitate Network Rail works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route:
C2030 Walton Road, C2030 Rylands Lane, C2145 Crown Lane to Elmley Lovett, C2144 Crown Lane, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Worcester Road, U40023 Old Worcester Road, C2030 Old Worcester Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (22:00hrsto 10:00hrs) Commencing: 26 August 2017.
(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Park Street, Kidderminster]
On 10 August 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:
Park Street (south east side) from a point 62.2 metres south east of the centre point of its junction with Plimsoll Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south easterly
direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. The Order will come into operation on 31 August 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council, Customer Service Centre, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made
(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Truro Drive and Hereford Close, Kidderminster]
On 10 August 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:-
Truro Drive (north side) from its junction with Hereford Close for a distance of
10 metres in an easterly direction and 10 metres in a westerly direction. Hereford Close (east side) from its junction with Truro Drive for a distance of 18.5 metres in a northerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Truro Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 31 August 2017.
