NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Westleigh Lane)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Westleigh Lane, Leigh outside property number 249 on Sunday 8 October 2017.
The alternative route for traffic is:- Corner Lane - Atherton Road - Leigh Road - Nel Pan Lane. The Order is necessary to allow repair works on manhole frame and cover.

Parkfield Avenue - Temporary Closure Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Parkfield Avenue) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Parkfield Avenue, Tyldesley at the junction with Norwood Avenue on Tuesday 7 November 2017. The alternative route for traffic is:- Norwood Avenue - Ley Crescent - Parkfield Avenue - Greenland Road - Woodland Road - Ullswater Road - Princes Avenue - Parkfield Avenue. Temporary Footpath Diversion Leigh No 54 (Part) Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure Places Directorate of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Leigh No 54(part))(Temporary Diversion) Order 2017.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person, except upon direction or with permission of a police constable, to use this section of Leigh No 54 from Point A as shown on the Order map at Grid Reference 365045 400839 to Point B as shown on the Order Map at Grid Reference 365002 400436 for a distance of approximately 415 metres in a southerly direction. An alternative route is available from Point A across Parsonage Way then south along the pavement of said road for approximately 460 metres then west back across Parsonage Way to Point B on the Order Map.
